assumption moment??

I've assume that i can finish my asignment on time even i done it last minutes, but it turned other way and i got punishment from the lecturer.
I've assumed that i can get a pretty girl to be my girlfren, but it turn as another bad luck as i can't have anyone until now...
I've assumed that I can get anything with my money lefted in my pockets, but it turn that i can barely eat with my money now..

do my assuming is good for me??
i don't think so as everything i've assume, turns out different result than what i hope..
just do your job and stop assuming more than what you done for the things you assume...
coz i don't do that either..
